We are open to speaking with either; experienced Quality Assurance Engineers or Civil Engineers, who are looking for a new challenge
- Graduates are also very welcome to apply for this post.

Excellent communication skills are key, as are stellar organisation skills, in order to plan and prioritise workload.

This role may, on occasion , require your presence on other UK wide sites, so the willingness to travel is essential.

Those with a Civil Engineer/Construction related degree would be held in high regard, as would candidates with recognised and approved Quality Management qualifications.

Job Specifics: Implement the QA/QC management system at siteCoordinate with quality inspections with all the site sub-contractors and vendors coordinate all non-destructive testing on siteCoordinate with the clients representative on all quality mattersDistribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractorsVerify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standardsParticipate in the site internal and external site auditsEnsure all quality control documentation is compiled and competed for as-built hand over to clientControl all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial actionCompete site quality control instructions and action remedial responsesMonitor the implementation of the approved site QC PlanComplete and coordinate the approval of the sites QC technical submittals to the customerCoordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues Coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractors QC personnelElaborating inspection and test programmeAssure all technical documents relative to site quality control are currentThis job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the Quality Engineer and the range of duties to be undertaken.
