The OpportunityWere recruiting for experienced CNC Turner Setter Operators to join a long-established, precision engineering company who have been producing their own premium quality products in Tewkesbury for over 60 years.

These are CNC turning-focused roles working on high-precision components in a clean, organised and well-equipped machine shop. Pay & ShiftsDay ShiftMonday Thursday: 08:00 17:00Friday: 08:00 13:00Salary: To give you an idea, the salary budget for these roles will be around £31,000 to £39,000 per annum but please do get in touch with your earnings requirements. The broad salary range is to welcome machinistswith a wide range of experienceso ifyou have just a few years under your belt or if you have more skills and experience, we will welcome your application.

Salaries are reviewed regularly taking your progression into account and you will have the opportunity to earn a lot more than this.

What youll be doingSet and operate CNC lathes producing precision-engineered componentsCarry out full machine set-ups including tooling selection and program loadingWork with Fanuc and/or Mazak controls (if you have used different controls before, you will be given all the support and training you need until youre fully happy)Inspect your own work using verniers, gauges and measuring equipmentRead and work from engineering drawings to tight tolerancesSupport continuous improvement and develop programming skills over timeWhat were looking forProven experience as a CNC TurnerAbility to complete full CNC lathe set-upsExperience working with engineering drawings and inspection toolsThe type of control panel youve used isnt important, we use Fanuc and MazatrolAttention to detail and pride in your workBenefits & cultureThis is a stable, long-term opportunity with a company that invests heavily in its people and equipment.
