We're looking for a Engineering Surveyor to join our KierBAM JV 10 Docks Civil Engineering Project team based in Devonport Royal Docks, Plymouth.Location: Devonport Royal Docks, PlymouthHours: 42.5 Full-timeWe are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required.

This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.As an engineering surveyor the role will cover awide range of activities, whicharedescribedinthe key responsibilitiessection below.Aspart of the survey team, thefocus of the role will vary during the stages of construction.What will you be responsible for?As an Engineering Surveyor , you'll be working within the survey engineering team, supporting them in delivering accurate and timely survey data processing and modelling services.

Your day-to-day will include:Checking and maintaining survey control networks.Conducting assurance surveys for construction of RC structures; through pre-pour, post-pour checks.As-built surveys, through laser scanning and modelling of point clouds.Ensuring survey data is collected and recorded accurately, following project QA/QC standards.

Operating survey equipment to the highest of precision within a civils environment.Supporting engineers with setting out activities to ensure consistent approaches to surveying and engineering.What are we looking for?This role of Engineering Surveyoris great for you if:You hold a degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Construction.You have experience in surveying and construction industries.Experience in a similar surveying position on a civil engineering project.Experience with surveying equipment; total stations, GPS/GNSS and laser scanners and experience with survey data processing software; AutoCAD Civil 3D, Leica Infinity, Leica Cyclone and Leica 3DR.CSCS Card and relevant site safety qualificationsRewards and benefitsWe're proud to be able to offer our brilliant people a wide variety of benefits that you can tailor to your needs.
