HGV Class 2 Hiab DriverLocation: Bury St EndmundsHours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pmSalary: £33,000 per annumInteraction Recruitment is currently seeking a dependable and professional HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver for a well-established distribution business based in Bury.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team with great working hours, strong employee benefits, and long-term career prospects.The RoleAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering construction-related products to customers across the local region while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver roofing, cladding, and associated materials to customer sites.Safely load, unload, and transport goods, ensuring all deliveries arrive in excellent condition.Operate a HIAB crane where required (full training available for suitable candidates).Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.Ensure all loads are correctly secured and comply with transport regulations.Complete delivery documentation accurately and efficiently.Adhere to Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Road Traffic regulations at all times.Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.Maintain vehicle cleanliness and present a positive company image.Assist with general depot and yard duties when required.Candidate RequirementsValid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.Driver CPC qualification.Digital Tachograph card.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to complete paperwork accurately.Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional approach to work.HIAB certificationWhat's on Offer?Competitive salary based on experience.Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm.Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm.No weekend working.Pension scheme.Free onsite parking.Company sick pay scheme.Health insurance and death-in-service benefit.Increased holiday entitlement linked to length of service.Paid Christmas shutdown period.Cycle to Work scheme.Free eye tests and contribution towards prescription glasses for DSE users. xwwtmva If you're an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a stable, full-time position with an employer that values its workforce, we'd love to hear from you.
