- £51,048 Contract: Full-Time | Permanent A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Reading is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher for a permanent position starting in September 2026.

The Role As the Year 5 Teacher , you will plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons that challenge and inspire pupils.

You will foster a positive classroom atmosphere, monitor progress effectively, and work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the school.

Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging lessons that support outstanding pupil progress.

Assess, record, and monitor attainment to inform future planning.

Create an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued.

Candidate Profile The ideal Year 5 Teacher will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school.

A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

The ability to motivate and inspire learners of all abilities.

A commitment to maintaining high expectations and promoting pupil success.
