Leading entrepreneurial international law firm seeks a new Head of Conflicts to join their London office to directly support a Risk and Compliance Partner:

The Head of Conflicts will report to the Risk and Compliance Partner and the successful candidate will be required to conduct a gap analysis and to train and build up a team of conflicts analysts. Line management and supervision of those currently running conflict checks will be required.
Key Responsibilities of the Head of Conflicts:
Identify and resolve potential conflicts of interest and confidentiality issues arising from client matters, lateral hires, and mergers.
Draft waivers and consent language required in the resolution of conflicts of interest and confidentiality issues.
Update the conflicts and confidentiality provisions in the firm's Terms of Business, as may be necessary from time to time.
Lead on internal investigations and other queries which involve conflict of interest or confidentiality issues.
Draft and update the firm’s internal conflicts of interest policies and procedures.
Provide training to partners and staff, globally, on conflicts of interest and confidentiality.
Regularly report to the firm’s management, Conflicts Committee, and partners on conflicts related issues.
Key Requirements of the Head of Conflicts:
Strong people management skillsand experience of successfully leading a team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrable strategic and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving and holistic risk assessment abilities.

In-depth and hands-on experience of using IntApp suite of products (Open, Walls etc).
