Insurance Account Handler
Salary: £28k -£33k DOE + great benefit package
Location: Hove
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Hybrid Working: Following the successful completion of a six-month probationary period, you'll have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, with three days in the office and two days working from home each week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys providing first-class customer service, building strong relationships and ensuring clients receive an exceptional level of support throughout their insurance journey.
Working alongside an experienced team, you'll play a key role in servicing clients, liaising with insurers, preparing quotations and ensuring policies are administered accurately and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing insurance policies from inception through to renewal.
- Liaising with insurers to obtain quotations for both new business and renewals.
- Preparing professional quotations and policy documentation.
- Processing mid-term adjustments (MTAs) and policy amendments.
- Issuing policy schedules, certificates and renewal documentation.
- Raising invoices and assisting with premium collection and credit control.
- Responding to client enquiries by telephone and email, providing an exceptional level of customer service.
- Maintaining accurate records using the company's CRM system.
- Supporting Account Executives and the wider broking team with day-to-day administration.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA regulations and company procedures.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience as an Insurance Account Handler, Broker Support or Insurance Administrator.
- Excellent administration and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment.
- Experience using Acturis or another insurance broking platform would be advantageous.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A proactive, positive and team-focused approach.
- A willingness to learn and develop within a specialist insurance sector.
