Instrument & Analyser TechnicianLocation: HullJob Type: PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Instrument & Analyser Technician to join a leading process manufacturing business operating a high-hazard COMAH site.Working as part of a multidisciplinary maintenance team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the reliability, safety and performance of critical instrumentation and analyser systems within a continuous process environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out preventative and reactive maintenance on instrumentation and analyser systems.Fault find, repair and calibrate process analysers including GC, NIR, TOC, pH and conductivity analysers .Perform hazardous area inspections in accordance with IEC60079 .Maintain safety-critical instrumentation and gas detection systems.Support installation, commissioning and continuous improvement projects.Work within Permit to Work systems and supervise contractors where required.Record maintenance activities using SAP or similar CMMS.Experience & QualificationsYou will have experience within the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas or other COMAH process industriesRecognised apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3/ONC or equivalent.Current CompEx Ex01-Ex04 certification.Strong knowledge of ATEX , DSEAR and instrument fault finding.Experience maintaining industrial analyser systems such as GC, NIR, TOC, pH and conductivity analysers .Knowledge of Safety Instrumented Systems (IEC61511).Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills. xwwtmva Experience with Honeywell DCS , SAP , Emerson AMS , FieldCare , Swagelok or 18th Edition is advantageous.
