This is an excellent opportunity for skilled theatre nurses looking for flexible agency work with competitive pay rates and ongoing shift availability.Pay Rates £25.00 £35.00 per hourLocation Royal Stoke Hospital, Stoke-on-TrentRole Overview As a Cardiac Scrub Nurse, you will play a key role within the theatre team, supporting cardiac procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and surgical safety.
You will be responsible for preparing operating theatres, assisting during procedures, and ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are managed effectively.Key Responsibilities Assist surgeons and theatre teams during cardiac proceduresPrepare and maintain sterile operating environmentsEnsure all surgical instruments and equipment are correctly prepared and accounted forDeliver high standards of patient care before, during, and after surgeryAdhere to infection prevention and control proceduresWork effectively within multidisciplinary teamsMaintain accurate patient records and documentationRespond professionally within fast-paced theatre environmentsRequirements Valid NMC registrationMinimum 6 months recent experience working as a Cardiac Scrub NursePrevious NHS experience preferredStrong knowledge of theatre xwwtmva and surgical proceduresExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work flexibly across shiftsWhat Bluestones Medical Offers Competitive hourly ratesFlexible shift patternsOngoing work opportunitiesWeekly payDedicated consultant supportOpportunities across leading NHS trusts and hospitalsIf you are an experienced Cardiac Scrub Nurse looking for flexible agency work at Royal Stoke Hospital , we would love to hear from you.
