Position : Activities Coordinator Care home : Springfield Vale Location : Perserverence Street, Barnsley, S70 6HD Contract type : Full Time
- 38.5 hours per week.

Weekend availability.

Rate : £12.71 per hour.

Are you an enthusiastic people person who loves to bring the fun? As an Activities Coordinator, youll organise and lead meaningful and entertaining activities for the people we support.

Youll play a key role in empowering them to live fulfilled and happy lives.

Youll shape the culture of a brand new team, in a state of the art, purpose built home designed with the people we support in mind.

Join us as our new Activities Coordinator at Springfield Vale care home in Barnsley.

About the role The people we support enjoy a full and active lifestyle, thanks to our team of Activities Coordinators who organise creative and engaging experiences.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include: organising individual activity plans based on peoples unique goals and interests fostering community spirit through group activities supporting people to maintain their current, and take up new, hobbies , interests and educational opportunities assisting people to become more involved in their local community celebrating national awareness days , holidays and individual/collective achievements promoting choice, dignity and independence.

About you Above all, youre someone who identifies with our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success and teamwork.

Youll put people at the heart of everything you do and have a genuine desire to make a difference If you havent worked in the care sector before, well help you feel right at home from the start with our induction, buddy and ongoing training programmes.

We value relevant experience and qualifications, but they arent essential for this role.
