  • Adapt classroom resources and activities to ensure all pupils can access learning.
  • Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and positive relationships.
  • Promote positive behaviour through consistent routines and nurturing approaches.
  • Support pupils during lessons, interventions, playtimes and transitions throughout the school day.
  • Observe and record pupil progress, contributing to reviews and support plans.
  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers and external professionals where appropriate.
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child can flourish.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school, childcare or care setting (desirable).
  • A calm, patient and compassionate approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to inclusion and safeguarding.
  • The ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Why Join Our School?

  • A welcoming and supportive leadership team.
  • Friendly and experienced teaching and support staff.
  • Excellent opportunities for ongoing CPD and professional development.
  • Well-resourced classrooms and learning environments.
  • A strong commitment to staff wellbeing.
  • Opportunities to develop your career within SEND and primary education.
  • A rewarding role where you can make a lasting difference every day.
