Job description
Position: Office Manager Location: Solihull Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: Immediate Start Available Office Manager Role in an Outstanding Primary School An Outstanding Primary School in Solihull is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to lead its busy school office and administrative team. About the Role The successful candidate will oversee the effective running of the school office, ensuring high standards of administration, communication, and customer service across the school. Working closely with the Headteacher and School Business Manager, you will manage administrative processes, supervise office staff, coordinate communications with parents and external agencies, maintain accurate school records, and support admissions, attendance, and operational procedures. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong leadership ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to manage multiple priorities within a busy school environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the school office and administrative team Oversee admissions, attendance, and pupil record systems Coordinate communication with parents, staff, governors, and external agencies Maintain accurate school records and management information systems Support the Headteacher and School Business Manager with operational administration Manage office procedures, workflows, and customer service standards Coordinate school events, meetings, and visitor management Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding, and data protection requirements The School Environment This Outstanding Primary School in Solihull offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential academically and personally.
