Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions): Chemical Regulation & Environmental Governance • Develop, maintain and continuously improve COSHH compliance across the business. • Maintain compliance with UK REACH, GB CLP and other applicable chemical legislation. • Prepare, review and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS), product classifications and regulatory documentation. • Support Environment Agency permit compliance and environmental reporting requirements. Audit & Risk Management • Carry out compliance audits across blending, filling, warehouse and associated operations. • Produce and review risk assessments, ensuring suitable control measures are implemented and maintained. • Support and maintain ISO 14001 environmental management systems and associated compliance records. • Identify opportunities for continual improvement in compliance systems and processes. Training & Culture • Deliver site inductions, compliance training and spill response awareness. • Provide practical regulatory guidance to operational teams. • Promote a positive, proactive compliance culture throughout the business. Investigation & Reporting • Investigate compliance incidents, non-conformances, near misses and regulatory breaches using root cause analysis. • Monitor compliance performance and prepare reports for senior management. • Liaise with regulator...
