Job descriptionA high-performing secondary school in West Bridgford, Nottingham is looking to appoint a motivated Facilities Officer to join its premises team on a full-time, permanent basis with an ASAP start. The Role Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll help oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the school's buildings and grounds, ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include: Opening and securing the school site when required Carrying out planned maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep Responding efficiently to maintenance requests from staff Completing routine Health & Safety inspections and compliance checks Supporting fire safety, asbestos, legionella, and site security procedures Assisting with the supervision of contractors and external maintenance works Setting up halls, classrooms, and sports facilities for events and examinations Maintaining the appearance of the school buildings, grounds, and outdoor spaces Supporting ongoing refurbishment and improvement projects across the site About the School Located in the popular area of West Bridgford, this successful 11–18 secondary school is known for its excellent facilities, supportive culture, and commitment to high standards.
