Our clients are part of a an International shipping organisation with offices overseas and offer global Logistics solutions Worldwide. They are currently looking for an Ocean Export Operations Coordinator to join their team at their offices based near Romford. The role will be working within the ocean freight export department within a friendly team in nice open plan offices.
Purpose of the role: To manage a Deep sea ocean freight export LCL groupage service from start to finish.
Duties will include:
Manage the LCL groupage export service
Organise the loading of the container
Liaison with overseas agents
Rating files
Handling any queries that may arise
Liaison with customers by phone and email
Export customs clearance
Organising Transport with Hauliers
Dealing with any packing restrictions.
Making sure all paperwork is correct and in place prior to sailing.
Hours of work are 0900 to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Required Skills:
To be successful for the role you will need to have experience of working within Export ocean freight shipments. You will have good communication skills and be able to work well under pressure when needed. Training will be provided on the company in house system.
