The Roof Gardens' community is united by open-mindedness, optimism and kindness, not defined by background. *The Role* We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Finance to lead our finance function.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll oversee day-to-day finance operations while providing strategic financial leadership across the business.

Working closely with our Food & Beverage, Membership, People and Operations teams, you'll drive financial performance, strengthen controls and support sustainable growth. *Key Responsibilities * * Lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective controls and efficient processes. * Support the Finance Director in delivering the Company's financial strategy and long-term business objectives. * Own the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes, providing commercial insight to support business performance and growth. * Partner with leaders across Food & Beverage, Membership, People and Operations to drive profitability and identify opportunities for improvement. * Produce timely management accounts, Board reporting, KPI dashboards, cash flow reporting and financial analysis. * Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, cash flow, payroll support and general ledger activities. * Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including statutory accounts, audit, VAT and tax compliance. * Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. * Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting and processes. * Lead, develop and inspire the Finance team, building a collaborative, high-performing culture. * Build strong relationships across the business, positioning Finance as a trusted commercial partner. * * *About you * * Significant senior finance experience within luxury hospitality, hotels, private members' clubs or premium leisure. * ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification. * Strong technical accounting, reporting and audit knowledge. * Experience in budgeting, forecasting and commercial finance. * A track record of developing high-performing teams. * Advanced Excel skills and experience with cloud-based finance and ERP systems. * Excellent communication, stakeholder management and commercial acumen. * A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for luxury hospitality. *Our Benefits* * Competitive salary above market rate - We are proud to be a London Living Wage Employer * Meals on duty * 20 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), plus an extra 'celebrate you day' & a paid voluteering day (increasing up to 33 days with each year of continuous service) * 50% discount when dining in our restaurants * Generous 'Refer a Friend' scheme up to 1,000 * Team socials to celebrate our successes * Access to Wagestream for financial well-being support * 24 / 7 confidential well-being and mental health support via our Employee Assistance Program * Growth opportunities, both personally and professionally * Breakout spaces with showers, secure storage, and areas to relax with colleagues * Company pension scheme * Access to Hospitlaity Action benefits hub for discounts plus eye Test vouchers We are a community united by attitude, curiosity and optimism, not defined by background.
