We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic GCSE Tutor to provide high-quality, personalised tuition to students in the Carlisle (CA3) area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tutor or qualified teacher who is passionate about helping young people achieve their academic potential.
Deliver engaging 1:1 GCSE tuition sessions.
Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.
Build students' confidence and support academic progress.
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
Create a positive, supportive, and safe learning environment.
Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE students.
Strong subject knowledge in the relevant GCSE subject(s).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Right to work in the UK.
Ability to travel to Carlisle (CA3) for in-person tuition.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
Experience supporting students with additional learning needs or SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
