Job description
Maintenance Team Member - Southampton

Who we are...

Harbour Hotels is a collection of prestigious hotels nestled in some of the most beautiful locations across the South. Our luxury portfolio spans sensational coastal, country and city properties, with a variety of exciting restaurant concepts and our unique HarSPA brand across many of our sites.

It is an exciting time to join our ever-growing hotel brand as we continue to develop and deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.

The Role...

We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and reliable Maintenance Team Members, with both full-time and part-time positions available, to join our team.

Working as part of the Maintenance team, you will help ensure that our hotel, guest bedrooms, public areas and facilities are maintained to a high standard, providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment for our guests and colleagues.

The role will involve carrying out a variety of general maintenance tasks, including basic painting and decorating, plumbing, joinery and general repairs. You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in ensuring that our facilities are well presented and kept in excellent working order.

You will be organised, proactive and able to respond quickly and effectively when maintenance issues arise. You will work closely with the wider hotel team and, where required, liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently and to the required standard.

Previous experience in a hotel, leisure or similar environment would be desirable. Experience working with spas, swimming pools or leisure facilities would also be advantageous, although full training and support will be provided where required.

A good understanding of Health & Safety is important, along with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What's In It For You...

At Harbour Hotels, we are committed to providing exceptional hospitality while creating a vibrant and enjoyable working environment for all our team. Here are just some of the benefits you will receive upon joining the crew:

  • Excellent progression opportunities within the Harbour Hotels Group

  • Individual and bespoke career and progression pathways

  • Competitive salary across all roles

  • Unique on-the-job training and development

  • Opportunities for internal promotion across our properties

  • Hotel stay and Food & Beverage discounts across the Harbour Hotels Group

  • Access to an exciting benefits and discount platform

  • Employee Assistance Programme

  • Stylish boutique uniform specially designed for Harbour Hotels

  • Meals included whilst on duty

If you have the skills, enthusiasm and ambition we are looking for and would like to join the Harbour Hotels team, we would love to hear from you. Please apply with a full and up-to-date CV below.

Please note, only those eligible to work in the UK or who have a valid UK work permit/visa will be considered for this vacancy.

We look forward to hearing from you!
