\nService Care Solutions are pleased to present an exciting opportunity, working in partnership with one of our established providers, to recruit an experienced Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner, with specialist experience within the neurodevelopmental field. If you have a passion for supporting your peers and conducting Autism and/or ADHD Assessments, we want to hear from you! \n

\nThey are recognised for their evidence-based, person-centred approach, combining compassion, connection, and clinical excellence. Their multidisciplinary team includes Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, and Medical Practitioners working collaboratively to improve outcomes for neurodivergent individuals and their families.\n

Job Title: Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner (ADHD / ASD Assessor)\n
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time / Part-Time\n
Location: Newcastle | Middlesborough\n
Salary: Up to £56,000 FTE + £150 Welcome Bonus, paid via Service Care Solutions\n

Role Purpose\n
\nAs an ADHD and/or ASD Assessor, you will play a pivotal role delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessments for children and young people referred for Autism and ADHD. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure accurate diagnoses and compassionate communication with families, supporting better outcomes and access to care.\n

Key Responsibilities\n
\n
    \n
  • Deliver specialist ADHD/ASD assessments both face-to-face and remotely.
  • \n
  • Conduct remote developmental history interviews via video.
  • \n
  • Participate in regular MDT meetings and peer diagnostic sessions.
  • \n
  • Provide families with clear and compassionate feedback.
  • \n
  • Produce accurate reports with the support of AI tools.
  • \n

Requirements\n
\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 1 year’s professional registration with relevant regulatory body:\n
      \n
    • NMC – General Nurse / Learning Disability Nurse / Mental Health Nurse
    • \n
    • HCPC – Occupational Therapist / Speech and Language Therapist
    • \n
    • SWE – Social Worker
    • \n
  • \n
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience conducting diagnostic assessments for Autism and/or ADHD in children and young people including DIVA, ADI-R and ADOS.
