Full-Time | ASAP Start

Do you have experience supporting children with Autism? A specialist school in Thatcham is seeking a dedicated ASD Support worker to join their inclusive and supportive team.

This role involves working with pupils aged 4 to 16 who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing needs, and communication difficulties. As an ASD Support worker, you will help students access learning through structured routines, visual supports, and tailored interventions.

Key Details:

* Role: ASD Support * Location: Thatcham * Salary: £90-£105 per day * Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm * Start Date: ASAP * Ideal for: Psychology, Education, or Health & Social Care graduates

In this ASD Support position, you will provide consistent 1:1 and small group assistance, helping pupils regulate emotions and develop social communication skills. The ASD Support will collaborate closely with SENCOs, therapists, and teaching staff to ensure personalised learning strategies are effectively delivered.

This opportunity offers hands-on experience in specialist education and is ideal for aspiring Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, or Educational Psychologists. Working as ASD Support, you will develop expertise in behaviour support, sensory strategies, and inclusive practice.
