Job description
Quality Assurance Engineer / QMS Engineer £40,000-£45,000 + Training + Career Progression Hyde Are you a Quality Assurance Engineer or QMS Engineer with experience maintaining ISO 9001 systems and managing NCRs, CAPA and corrective actions within manufacturing? Do you want to take responsibility for quality systems and continuous improvement in a role focused on compliance, documentation and problem-solving rather than routine dimensional inspection? On offer is the opportunity to join an established UK manufacturer of bolts and pipeline products, supplying customers across global markets from a 24/7 production facility. With almost 50 years of industry experience, the business is committed to maintaining high quality standards and improving its manufacturing processes. In this role, you will maintain and develop the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, manage non-conformances from initial investigation through to closure and drive CAPA activity. You will also support internal and external audits, control quality documentation and investigate customer and supplier issues. You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing and Sales, using quality data and structured root cause analysis to identify recurring problems, implement corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
