Senior Data Lead - shape how organisations use govern and unlock the value of their data.
Were looking for a Senior Data Lead to join our growing team. This is an opportunity for an experienced data professional who enjoys working at the strategic and organisational level helping clients develop data strategies policies governance operating models and frameworks needed to become truly data-driven organisations.
This is not a dashboard development or engineering role. Instead youll work with senior stakeholders to shape how data is governed managed and used to support better decisions improved outcomes and long-term organisational success. The role would particularly suit an established Data Lead looking for the next step in their career and greater exposure to strategic advisory work.

What were looking for
Were interested in people who bring:
Data policy data governance or data strategy experience
Experience leading or managing data transformation initiatives.
Strong analytical thinking problem-solving skills and professional judgement.
The confidence to engage and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
The ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance.
It would be great if you also have experience in:
Defence Government National Security or similarly complex environments.
Planning and delivering change across large organisations.
Explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience

Required Skills:
We are interested in people who can bring: Consulting experience within Defence Government National Security or similarly complex environments. Ability to hold or obtain UK Security Clearance. Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Strategic thinking and the ability to see the bigger picture. It would be great if you also have: Strong planning and organisational skills. Experience leading workstreams or managing client relationships. An engaging and collaborative approach with colleagues and clients. You will need to hold or be able to obtain UK Security Clearance for this role. Note - Darter is a remote first organisation with an office in Reading and clients around England. Expect a hybrid working style with travel every week.
