Life at Springfield Veterinary Hospital - CVS Vets 24/7 We are looking for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team and work on average 38 hours a week across a 3‑week rolling rota pattern, covering a mix of earlies and lates. Starting and finishing times vary between 8am and 1am. Springfield Veterinary Centre - CVS Vets 24/7 is a busy, first opinion, 24‑hour Hospital with a passionate team of vets, nurses, VCAs, and receptionists. Our facilities include digital x‑ray, dental x‑ray, ultrasound, endoscope, in‑house lab equipment, separate cat, dog, and exotics wards, along with a well‑established team with certificate holders in both medicine and surgery, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care. Holding ISFM Gold Cat Friendly status, Rabbit Friendly Silver accreditation, and six RCVS Outstanding Awards, we are committed to delivering the highest standard of patient care. With free on‑site parking, a private fenced garden, and ongoing support for CPD, we foster a supportive culture where open discussion, collaboration, and continuous learning are actively encouraged. The team takes a no‑blame approach for mistakes, viewing them as opportunities for growth, while maintaining strong community involvement, it is a welcoming environment that makes it truly a great place to work. No two days at Springfield Veterinary Hospital are ever the same, your responsibilities will include: * Provide high‑quality patient care, running wards and monitoring recovery * Deliver nurse consults and clinics * Monitor anaesthetics for first and second ops * Support student nurses in their clinical journey About you Our ideal candidate will have some experience as a qualified veterinary nurse and be confident in all areas of nursing, including anaesthetics. An interest in clinical coaching is desirable but not essential.
