MEP Quantity Surveyor

to join their Manchester regional team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly respected organisation, supporting a varied portfolio of projects across commercial, healthcare, education, infrastructure, leisure, residential and mission-critical sectors. Based from their Manchester office, you will work closely with project teams, commercial managers and operational delivery teams to support the successful commercial management of MEP packages from procurement through to final account. Key Responsibilities Support the commercial management of mechanical and electrical packages across multiple projects. Assist with cost planning, estimating, procurement and subcontractor management. Manage valuations, variations, change control and payment applications. Prepare and review cost reports, forecasts and commercial performance updates. Work closely with project managers, engineers and site teams to maximise project performance. Assist with the preparation, negotiation and agreement of subcontractor accounts and final accounts. Review contract documents, drawings, specifications and scope requirements. Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks, opportunities and areas for improvement. Support procurement activities including tender analysis, negotiations and subcontractor appointments. Maintain accurate commercial records and ensure compliance with company procedures. Develop strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders. Requirements Previous experience as a

Quantity Surveyor

within the MEP / Building Services sector. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installations and associated commercial processes. Experience working for an M&E subcontractor, specialist contractor or building services organisation. Good knowledge of subcontract procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts. Exposure to a range of sectors and project environments would be advantageous. Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within project teams.
