\n Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for a flexible, remote working opportunity within Adult Social Care services? Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for 2 Remote Occupational Therapists to support Cornwall Council on a 12-week contract basis. This is an excellent chance to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment with part-time hours, making it ideal for professionals seeking adaptability and rewarding work.\n

  • PAYE: £21.57 per hour
    • \n
  • Umbrella: £27.62 per hour

Key Responsibilities:\n
\n As a Remote Occupational Therapist, your primary duties will include:\n
\n
\n
    \n
  • Screening incoming referrals requiring Occupational Therapy input
    • \n
  • Completing initial assessments of referrals in a proportionate manner
    • \n
  • Gathering relevant information and identifying potential risks
    • \n
  • Determining the most appropriate intervention pathway and level of support
    • \n
  • Prioritising cases to ensure efficient service delivery
    • \n
  • Providing advice, guidance, signposting, and early intervention support
    • \n
  • Promoting preventative approaches to delay or reduce the need for ongoing services
    • \n
  • Supporting timely, appropriate outcomes for individuals using Adult Social Care services
    • \n
Candidate Responsibilities:\n
\n The successful Remote Occupational Therapist will need to demonstrate:\n
\n
\n
    \n
  • Degree or recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
    • \n
  • Current HCPC registration
    • \n
  • 2-3 years' experience at Band 6 level, preferably within Physical Health or Adult Social Care
    • \n
  • Strong assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
    • \n
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment
    • \n
