\n As the business continues to grow, our client is looking for a Chinese Speaking Customer Service & Sales Adviser to support their Mandarin and Cantonese speaking customers.

• Salary: £12.71 per hour

• Hours: 15-20 hours per week (approximately 4 hours per day)

The Role
\n We are looking for a confident, professional, and customer-focused individual who is fluent in Chinese and English. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for Chinese-speaking customers, helping them understand insurance quotations, renewals, policy information, and general enquiries.
\n This is a varied role combining customer service, sales support, relationship management, and administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact lapsed clients and prospective new customers to introduce services and provide insurance quotations.
\n
• Follow up on insurance renewals already issued to clients.
\n
• Translate and explain policy information, renewal terms, and risk information clearly to Chinese-speaking customers.
\n
• Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective clients.
\n
• Support customers with policy enquiries, mid-term adjustments, and general account queries.
\n
• Liaise with the broking and insurance handling teams to ensure customer requirements are communicated effectively.
\n
• Relay customer feedback and important information back to internal stakeholders.
\n
• Manage email correspondence and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
\n
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer records using internal systems.
\n
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
\n

Essential Skills & Experience

\n

\n
• Fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\n
• Previous experience in a customer service, sales, telesales, account management, or client-facing role.
\n
• Confident speaking with customers over the phone and via email.
\n
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
\n
• Ability to explain complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
\n
• Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach.
\n
• Competent with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
\n
