Are you passionate about empowering young people to achieve independence and reach their full potential? Halton Borough Council is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Personal Advisor to join our Care Leavers Team.
\nAs a Personal Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting care-experienced young people as they transition into adulthood. Working within the framework of the Children Act 1989, Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000, and Children and Social Work Act 2017, you will provide practical, emotional, and professional support to ensure young people can access the opportunities, services, and guidance they need to thrive.
About the Role\nYou will build positive, trusting relationships with care leavers, supporting them to develop the confidence and life skills needed for independent living. Working collaboratively with partner agencies, you will help implement Pathway Plans, undertake assessments, and coordinate services that promote positive outcomes in education, employment, housing, health, and wellbeing.
