The Role at a Glance Vibrant and welcoming primary school based in Birmingham Premises Manager responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the school site Full-time position ASAP start available Our client is seeking a proactive, organised, and hands-on Premises Manager to join a thriving primary school in Birmingham. This is a key operational role, with responsibility for ensuring the school premises are safe, secure, compliant, well-maintained, and presented to the highest possible standard for pupils, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day maintenance and smooth running of the school site, ensuring all health and safety requirements are met. You will be responsible for coordinating contractors, managing planned and reactive maintenance, supporting site security, and ensuring the school environment remains safe, clean, and fit for purpose. You may also be required to oversee site staff, where applicable, and will work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to support the effective day-to-day operation of the school. This position would suit an experienced Premises Manager, Site Manager, Facilities Manager, or Estates professional who is confident taking ownership of a school site, managing competing priorities, and maintaining consistently high operational standards. Previous experience working within a primary school or education setting would be advantageous.
