Depot Operations Supervisor

Overview

The Depot Operations Supervisor reports to the Retail Sales & Operations Manager (RSOM) who has overall responsibility for the depot and service across:

• Customer Services
• Delivery fleet
• Cold store Warehouse

This role is 40 hours per week working any 5 of 6 days (closed Sundays.)

We offer a competitive hourly rate of 14.94 per hour

Responsibilities

• An integral member of the leadership team youll model the passion and commitment to deliver outstanding service to our customers.
• You will help to drive the consistent delivery of established processes and operational standards.
• Youll track the teams performance against achieving daily weekly and monthly targets.
• Developing both the operational performance of the depot and the skills of your team will be a key aspect of the role.
• The Depot Operations Supervisor has responsibility for areas such as health & safety stock management local delivery fleet management and facilities maintenance.
• Youll be ready and willing to get involved in the day-to-day tasks if needed including deliveries (so a full UK driving licence is essential.)

• Full driving license

You must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience of leading a team within a retail wholesale customer service or operational/logistics environment
• Some knowledge of commercial / P&L / budget management
• Health & safety training
• Food safety training
• Coaching skills
• Experience of developing a team
• Experience of implementing operational policies and processes

This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the skilled worker route as it does not meet the minimumrequirements set out under the UK Immigration Rules.
