Job description
Salary: Up to £48,500.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) Bath Clinic is part of Circle Health Group, Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Sister Charge Nurse to join their team of staff in the Wards department. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: * Provide hands-on clinical care, acting as a senior point of support for complex or deteriorating patients. * Coordinate daily clinical activity and ensure safe staffing levels, skill mix, and continuity of care. * Promote high standards of nursing practice through supervision, coaching, and role modelling. * Allocate and supervise staff during shifts, ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined and patient needs are met. * Support the development, appraisal, and competency assessment of junior nurses, HCAs, and students. * Contribute to the induction and ongoing development of new staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and policies. Applicants should meet the following criteria: * Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration. * Significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant specialty. * Experience in leading and supervising a team within a clinical environment. * Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and coordination skills. * Commitment to high standards of patient care and professional development. * Leadership or management training (or willingness to undertake). * Experience in audit, service improvement, or quality assurance projects. * Familiarity with private healthcare systems and governance frameworks.
