NEW ROLE Conveyancing Fee Earner - Manchester

Are you an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner, Paralegal or Legal Assistant looking to join a fast-paced and supportive legal team?

Our client is seeking a motivated individual to play a key role in progressing residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring excellent client service and compliance throughout the process.

As a Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload while working closely with solicitors, lenders, asset managers, estate agents, buyers and internal stakeholders to deliver efficient and successful property transactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
• Preparing and drafting legal documentation including contracts, transfer deeds, title reports, auction packs and completion statements.
• Dealing with enquiries from buyers and their solicitors to ensure transactions progress efficiently.
• Preparing files for exchange and completion, ensuring all legal and client requirements have been met.
• Managing completion monies and carrying out financial reconciliations in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Liaising with solicitors, lenders, estate agents, asset managers and other stakeholders to keep matters moving smoothly.
• Submitting Land Registry applications and dealing with post-completion matters, including the distribution of surplus funds where applicable.
• Identifying legal, regulatory and operational risks and escalating where appropriate.
• Maintaining accurate case management records and preparing client management information.
• Ensuring full compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Data Protection, Information Security and Financial Crime procedures.
• Delivering high levels of accuracy, productivity and client service while meeting service level agreements and quality standards.

Ideally, you will have previous experience within a conveyancing, legal assistant or paralegal role and possess a strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process. You will be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail and be confident managing a busy caseload while working to deadlines.

Strong communication skills and experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office are essential.

Experience within lender services, repossession sales or a volume conveyancing environment would be highly advantageous, as would knowledge of FCA-regulated environments and experience handling completion funds and financial reconciliations.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday. The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary, dependent upon experience.
