Position:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bank Porter driver within our Hotel Services department based at Ailsa Hospital covering the vaccination centres, care homes and schools across Ayrshire and Arran

Hours:

Bank - As and when required.

From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.

UK Driving Licence:

A UK driving licence is essential for this role.

What you will do:

Clinical Support Services is currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Portering Department working within Mass vaccination. This varied role includes a range of responsibilities include providing all Supplies, Sundries, Vaccines, Equipment and Emergency Oxygen to Vaccination Centres, Care Homes and Schools across NHS Ayrshire &Arran and Marshalling Venues through the day.
A flexible approach to both hours and shift is essential. Weekend work will be required. Previous experience would be advantageous but full training will be given
