The P&C Advisor is the first point of contact for our stores within the UK and will act as a trusted partnertolocal retail leadership teams.

You will provide hands-on support and guidance in all People &Culture relatedmattersprimarily within operational questionsensuringthat policies processes and initiatives are not only implemented consistently but also tailored toUK employment law.

This role is based in Manchesterworking closely with the People & Culture team to deliver and execute people tasks to our stakeholders within our retail stores within the UK & Ireland. Travel will be expected as necessitated by the business and people requirements to build strong relationships with our Area and Store Managersto understand and support the challenges faced by our retail support UK expansion this role will also involve travel to new store locations to lead recruitment and oversee onboarding of store teams.

Key Responsibilities:

This role offers plenty of variety but your primary focus will be driving the administrative side of store a key role in recruitment for new storessourcingand screening candidates and managing the essential processes that make recruitment and onboarding seamless.

• Act as a first point of contact for Country Area & Store Managers on P&C related matters.
• Serve as local superuser and provide first line support in Same System & Emply.
• Deliver hands-on P&C support and expert advice on employee relations performance management and compliance issues.
• Support our stores with Christmas recruitment during peak trading working closely with store managers to ensure teams are fully staffed enabling the store managers to feel confident in their recruitment decisions.
• Support all stages of the employee lifecycle ensuring compliance with UK employment law and internal People & Culture procedures. This includes preparing accurate documentation and process-related paperwork.
• Ensure consistent implementation of P&C policies and procedures across all stores.
• Monitor and report P&C metrics (e.g. turnover absence rates).

Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a P&C Advisor or similar HR generalist role within the retail sector.
• Experienced in candidate screening and managing high-volume recruitment across multiple roles concurrently with strong coordination and communication to deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
• Proven ability to liaise with and influence stakeholders at all levels including senior leadership.

Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of UK employment law with the ability to apply it confidently in complex situations.
• Knowledge and understanding of Trade Unions and TUPE processes.
