Previous experience ofworking in General Practice is desirable; however, we are able to provide aTransition Programme for those who are new to Primary Care, if required. Main duties of the job The post holder will work as an autonomous clinician within the GPpractice, providing advanced clinical care to patients presenting with acute,chronic, and complex health needs. The role requires independent prescribing,advanced clinical assessment skills, and the ability to manage patients acrosstheir lifespan within a primary care setting. The ANP/ECP will workcollaboratively with GPs, nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team toensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care, contributing to servicedevelopment and quality improvement within the practice. We are a friendly team consisting of 3 GPs, 7 ANPs, 1 ECP, 6 Practice Nurses, 1 NA, 2 HCAs, 1 GPA and a supportive adminstaff caring for 14,800 patients in a semi-rural setting. We are also supported by PCNARRS staff including Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapist,Social Prescriber and Health Coaches.
