Utility Arborist Climber - Horsham - £50,000 + Benefits
The Job:
We recruiting for Utility Arborist Climbers on behalf of a well-established and growing arboriculture contractor.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced climber to join a professional team delivering vegetation management services across the South East. Working primarily around high voltage power lines, you'll play a key role in maintaining network resilience while also supporting commercial, site clearance and domestic tree work projects.
The role offers excellent earning potential, with opportunities for additional income through emergency standby, out of hours and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out utility arboriculture and vegetation management work around high voltage power networks
- Undertake tree climbing, pruning, dismantling and felling operations safely and efficiently
- Complete commercial, site clearance and domestic arboricultural projects as required
- Work in accordance with industry, utility and Health & Safety standards
- Maintain equipment, vehicles and work sites to a high standard
- Support emergency call-outs, standby duties and out of hours work when required

The Candidate:
- At least 1 year's climbing experience within arboriculture
- Hold relevant NPTC qualifications including CS30, CS31, CS38 and CS39, with utility qualifications (UA1/UA2) advantageous or willingness to undertake training
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence, with an HGV licence advantageous but not essential
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to participate in standby, out of hours and weekend work
- Able to successfully complete a pre-employment fitness assessment, drug and alcohol screening,and DBS check
The Package
- Salary up to £50,000, depending on experience
