The Role As Office Manager, youll become the central point of coordination for the practice, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while delivering an outstanding experience for clients. Your responsibilities will include: * Managing the day-to-day administration of a busy legal office * Being the first point of contact for clients, handling enquiries professionally and compassionately * Opening new matters, maintaining accurate case records and supporting file management * Managing and updating the firms case management system (LEAP experience would be advantageous) * Supporting compliance procedures, including file opening and AML processes * Coordinating appointments, diaries and correspondence * Assisting with billing administration and general office operations * Helping improve systems and processes to support the firms continued growth * Providing practical day-to-day support to the Principal Solicitor and wider legal team Depending on your experience, there may also be opportunities to assist with straightforward legal documentation and additional project work. About You This role would suit someone with experience working within a legal environment who enjoys taking ownership and keeping everything organised. Youll ideally have: * Previous experience working within a law firm in an office management, legal support or senior administrative role * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities * Excellent attention to detail and an understanding of legal compliance procedures * Experience using a legal case management system (LEAP would be highly desirable) * Outstanding communication and client care skills * A proactive, practical approach with a genuine willingness to get involved wherever needed Experience within immigration, family, probate, housing or wider civil litigation would be advantageous, although candidates from other legal disciplines with strong transferable experience are equally encouraged to apply.
