Job description
Intelect are an award-winning electrical and mechanical engineering company with bases in Middlesbrough, Leicester and Grimsby, predominantly servicing process industries such as food and beverage manufacturing, utilities, heavy industry and renewables. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Panel Department Manager to lead our panel manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in the design and manufacture of electrical control panels, MCCs and switchboards who has progressed into a supervisory or management role and is looking to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities * Managing and developing a team of 2–3 panel builders/electricians. * Planning and coordinating workloads to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. * Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and workmanship. * Liaising with customers to understand requirements and provide technical support. * Preparing quotations and cost estimates for new and existing works. * Supporting sales activities and maintaining strong customer relationships. * Monitoring department performance and identifying opportunities for improvement. * Working closely with other departments to ensure s...
