Job description
Are you a Qualified Supervisor or NVQ3, AM2, 18th ed. and 2391 qualified? * Do you have experience of Renewable technology or Commercial grade electricals? * Are you based within a commutable distance of Cardiff? Overview Our Client is a rapidly growing renewable energy installer based in Cardiff, delivering high‑quality solar PV, battery storage, and air‑source heat pump systems across Wales and the South West. They are seeking an experienced Qualifying Supervisor (QS) to oversee electrical compliance, ensure installation quality, and maintain accreditation standards across all renewable technologies. The QS will act as the company’s technical lead for electrical safety, certification, and regulatory governance, ensuring every installation meets the highest standards of workmanship, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Technical Compliance & Governance Act as the company’s Qualified Supervisor for solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, and ASHP installations. Ensure all electrical works comply with BS 7671, MCS standards, DNO requirements, Building Regulations, and RECC. Oversee and sign off electrical work, test results, commissioning sheets, and compliance documentation. Maintain and update internal technical procedures, installation standards, and quality systems.
