We are a passionate, diverse team of venue specialists dedicated to making the planet better for future generations. *Waiter - The Role* * Welcome and engage members and guests in a warm and professional manner * Deliver attentive, knowledgeable and efficient table service * Take food and beverage orders accurately, including allergen awareness * Make recommendations based on guest preferences and menu knowledge * Monitor the guest experience and respond proactively to needs * Handle payments and present bills accurately * Work across different areas of the restaurant (section service, hosting, drinks, coffee, etc.) * Support smooth day-to-day service, including opening and closing duties * Assist with preparing the restaurant for service (polishing, setting, restocking) * Maintain clean, organised FOH and BOH areas * Support team members during busy service periods * Develop strong knowledge of menus, ingredients and seasonal changes * Be confident discussing food, drinks and the story behind the product * Maintain high standards of presentation and service at all times * Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene and company procedures * Work collaboratively with kitchen and front of house teams * Contribute to a positive, inclusive and professional environment * Be open to learning, feedback and ongoing development * Represent the values of Nettle, The Conduit and Levy. * Experience in a similar front of house or hospitality role preferred * Passion for delivering great service * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude *What we're looking for* * Warm, engaging and personable * Strong attention to detail * Calm under pressure * Adaptable and willing to learn * Professional and reliable *What you'll get in return* * Competitive salary with bonus and full company benefits * 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, your birthday off, and a holiday purchase scheme * Healthcare & wellbeing : Aviva Digicare, Medicash (dental, optical, therapy treatments) * Mental health support : 24 / 7 Employee Assistance Programme * Family benefits : Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption leave.
