Are you an enthusiastic, caring, and reliable Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a local primary school?
We are searching for a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school team in the M22 area starting this September.
In this role, you will work across the classroom to support the class teacher, assist with daily learning activities, and help pupils build confidence and key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development.
Support the class teacher with setting up learning materials and managing classroom activities.
Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to boost literacy, numeracy, and reading comprehension.
Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and positive behavior in the classroom and playground.
Assist in monitoring student progress and sharing feedback with the class teacher.
School Experience: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting is preferred.
Positive Energy: A warm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
Strong Communication: Excellent spoken and written English skills to guide pupils effectively.
DBS Requirement: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply and pay for one prior to starting).
Reliability: Strong organizational skills and a genuine commitment to the school community.
Competitive Pay: £95 – £120 per day, paid weekly.
Consistent Work: Long-term, stable term-time placement for the academic year.
Great Location: Easily accessible via public transport and road networks in M22 (Wythenshawe / Northern Moor / Northenden).
