Our client is seeking a reliable, practical School Caretaker to join their active premises team immediately. Operating on a rotating shift pattern (early morning opens or late evening secures), this role is ideal for a skilled technician or handyman looking for a stable, highly supportive educational environment.
Key responsibilities include carrying out morning unlocking or evening lockup routines, executing first-line reactive fabric repairs (basic plumbing, carpentry, and redecoration), setting up halls for exams and assemblies, and carrying out routine statutory safety checks (weekly fire alarm drills, emergency lighting checks, and water hygiene temperature logs).
