Our client requires an organised and efficient Site Manager to take immediate responsibility for campus upkeep, emergency repair triage, security systems, and statutory compliance logs. Working closely with the School Business Manager, you will ensure a safe, functional, and highly supportive learning environment across all school departments.
Key responsibilities include coordinating caretaker shift patterns, managing the building management system (BMS), tracking raw utility data, and running automated room comfort calibrations. You will also oversee the completion and logging of all statutory safety checks—including weekly fire alarm testing, legionella water safety cycles, emergency lighting diagnostics, and physical site security checks.

Senior leaders actively support the premises team with a realistic operational budget, dedicated administrative assistance, and fully funded pathways for advanced professional certifications.
Proven experience in a site manager, caretaker supervisor, or commercial building maintenance role (school experience is highly desirable)
Deep operational knowledge of current health and safety parameters, COSHH guidelines, and statutory building compliance data logs
Strong practical skills across general maintenance operations (such as minor carpentry, basic plumbing, and structural repairs)
Excellent communication and contractor liaison skills, with confidence using digital facilities helpdesk software
