Our client is seeking a professional, hands-on Site Manager to take immediate responsibility for campus maintenance and facilities logistics. Working alongside the Premises Manager and School Business Manager, you will oversee caretaking shift rotations, manage contractor access permits, calibrate building environmental systems, and maintain flawless compliance records for fire, water, and asbestos safety.
The facilities department benefits from dedicated workshop spaces, modern asset management platforms, and a collaborative support structure.
This thriving secondary academy in Leeds is celebrated for its strong academic progress, excellent technical facilities, and commitment to staff wellbeing. Senior leaders actively support the premises team with a realistic operational budget, dedicated administrative support, and fully funded pathways for advanced safety certifications (such as IOSH or NEBOSH).
Proven experience in a school site manager, caretaker supervisor, or commercial facilities role
Deep working knowledge of health and safety legislation (COSHH, HASAWA, statutory testing protocols)
Strong practical skills across general property maintenance (plumbing, joinery, basic electrics)
Confident IT literacy, with experience using digital facilities helpdesk and ticket tracking software
