A high-achieving school in Gloucester is seeking an energetic Behaviour Mentor to join their pastoral department. We need someone who is passionate about social mobility and believes that every student, regardless of their background or behavioral history, deserves a chance to succeed.
Location: Gloucester (Central location with local bus links)
Salary: £25,000 – £28,500 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent, Term-time only
Hours: 08:30 – 16:00
Individual Support Plans (ISPs): Assisting in the creation and implementation of behavior plans, ensuring all teachers are aware of a student’s specific needs and strategies.
Transition Support: Helping Year 6 students with behavioral needs settle into the secondary environment during the crucial first term.
Career Mentoring: Helping older students see the link between their behavior in school and their future career or college prospects.
Peer Mediation: Training older students to act as peer mentors to younger pupils, fostering a whole-school culture of responsibility.
