Job description
About the role
Are you an experienced PET-CT Radiographer or Technologist looking to work with cutting-edge technology in a specialist imaging environment?

At InHealth's Nottingham Specialist Imaging Centre, you'll join a passionate, patient-focused team delivering high-quality PET-CT services that play a vital role in the diagnosis, staging and monitoring of cancer and other complex conditions. Every scan you perform has the potential to make a real difference to a patient's treatment journey.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, dedicated PET-CT service where you'll be supported to continue developing your expertise while working alongside experienced clinicians and multidisciplinary teams.

What you'll be doing
As a PET-CT Radiographer/Technologist, you'll deliver safe, accurate and compassionate imaging services for both NHS and private patients, ensuring every patient receives an exceptional experience from arrival through to completion of their scan.

Your role will include:
  • Performing high-quality PET-CT imaging examinations in line with clinical protocols and best practice.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and guidance, including IR(ME)R, IRR, and ARSAC.
  • Providing outstanding patient care, supporting patients throughout their imaging journey with professionalism, empathy and respect.
  • Carrying out routine quality assurance checks on imaging equipment and escalating any issues appropriately.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring all documentation is completed to the highest standard.
  • Supporting clinical governance through audits, incident reporting and continuous quality improvement.
  • Managing clinical and administrative workflows to ensure the smooth running of the service.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and compliant working environment.
  • Contributing to stock management and ensuring clinical areas remain fully equipped.

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and takes pride in producing high-quality diagnostic imaging.

You'll bring:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong commitment to patient safety and delivering an outstanding patient experience.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using clinical IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally for training when required.

Essential requirements
  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, Nuclear Medicine or an equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working within PET-CT or Nuclear Medicine.
  • Registration with the relevant professional body where applicable.
  • A sound understanding of radiation protection legislation and clinical governance.
  • Knowledge of patient confidentiality, GDPR and the Caldicott Principles.

Why join InHealth?
At InHealth, we're committed to investing in our people. When you join our PET-CT team, you'll benefit from:
  • Working in a dedicated specialist imaging centre with state-of-the-art PET-CT technology.
  • Opportunities to develop your skills through ongoing training and continuing professional development.
  • Being part of an experienced, supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team.
  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference to patients at some of the most important moments in their healthcare journey.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including generous annual leave, pension, private healthcare and access to a wide range of wellbeing and lifestyle benefits.

If you're ready to take the next step in your PET-CT career and join a team committed to delivering outstanding diagnostic services, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and help shape the future of specialist imaging at our Nottingham Specialist Imaging Centre.
