\n Are you an experienced HLTA looking for flexible school work from September?
\n Monarch Education are working with schools across Frome who are looking for confident, reliable and adaptable Supply HLTAs to support teaching and learning from the start of the new academic year.
The role
\n As a Supply HLTA, you will support pupils across the school day, help deliver pre-planned learning and provide classroom cover when required.
\n This work is available from September for the first term, with the potential to continue longer depending on school requirements.
You will be:
\n * Delivering pre-planned lessons and learning activities
\n * Supporting pupils across different year groups and abilities
\n * Leading small group work and interventions
\n * Providing classroom cover where needed
\n * Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
\n * Helping maintain a positive and focused classroom environment
\n * Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and senior leaders
\n * Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
We are looking for someone who is:
\n * Experienced in a HLTA, Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor or similar school-based role
\n * Confident supporting learning and leading classroom activities
\n * Flexible, reliable and proactive
\n * Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
\n * Calm and confident with behaviour management
\n * Committed to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
Requirements:
\n * HLTA qualification desirable, but not essential with strong school experience
\n * Experience working in a primary, secondary or specialist school setting
\n * Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
\n * Right to work in the UK
\n * Willingness to complete registration, compliance and safeguarding checks
