We are looking for experienced Biology educators to join a vital national project. You will play a key role in building the benchmarks that ensure AI tutoring tools are safe, scientifically accurate, and pedagogically sound for students across the UK.
About the RoleThis is a highly flexible, fully remote role running until 30th September 2026, requiring approximately 5-10 hours per week.
Using your subject expertise, you will evaluate AI systems, create biology teaching scenarios, and set the standards by which AI science tools are measured. Your day-to-day will involve designing realistic student-teacher dialogues (covering cell biology, ecosystems, human anatomy, and genetics), developing benchmarking criteria to test the accuracy of biological concepts and terminology, scoring AI responses, and building rubrics to evaluate how effectively the AI explains complex living systems and processes.
