Job Summary The post will be part of the Surgical Junior Doctor tier at University Hospital Llandough. The successful applicant will share on‑call duties and gain exposure to a wide range of surgical conditions including orthopaedics, breast, ENT, maxillofacial, general surgery, urology and gynaecology, while being fully supported by an appropriate junior and senior team. The post also provides access to clinical supervision and internal educational and training opportunities and involves working across general surgical ward areas to support safe delivery of care to the wards and acute, unselected surgical on‑call rota. Posts available from 7 August 2026. Responsibilities The role involves shared on‑call duties with exposure to a variety of surgical specialties, supporting ward activities, participating in surgical wards, and pursuing continuing education and training. Gaining experience across general surgical ward areas and learning to support safe care delivery form the core service purpose of the position.
