We know earnings matter.

Your contracted salary will be £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience, based on a 40-hour working week.

But that’s only part of the package.

We pay travel time door-to-door.

Because our engineers work across the South West, a typical paid working week can often be 44–50 hours once travel time is included.

That means experienced electricians can realistically achieve total annual earnings of £40,000–£50,000+, depending on their base salary, hours worked and the additional opportunities they choose to take.

There are also opportunities to increase your earnings further through:

We’re not looking to hide overtime behind an inflated advertised salary. The £35,000–£40,000 is your base salary, with additional paid hours and opportunities on top.

A Typical Week Could Include

· Installing Tesla Powerwall battery systems

· Installing Fox battery storage systems

· Wiring and commissioning air source heat pumps

· Solar PV installations from domestic rooftops to large commercial arrays

· Connecting and commissioning inverters

· Installing EV charging equipment

· Consumer unit upgrades

· Testing, inspection and certification

· Fault finding and diagnostics

· Heating controls and renewable system wiring

· Supporting large-scale commercial renewable energy projects

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Electricians – Essential

· NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or equivalent

· 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

· Experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical installations

· Good testing, fault-finding and problem-solving ability

· High standard of workmanship

· Comfortable dealing directly with customers

· Ability to work independently and as part of a wider installation team

· Full UK driving licence

Experience We’d Particularly Welcome

Experience in renewables is an advantage, but it isn’t essential.

We’re particularly interested in electricians with experience in any of the following:

· Solar PV

· Battery storage

· Tesla Powerwall

· EV charging

· Heat pump wiring and controls

· Inspection & testing

· Commercial electrical installations

· JIB Gold Card

· CSCS

· SSSTS / SMSTS

· IPAF or other access qualifications

If you’re a strong electrician without renewable energy experience, we’ll provide the training and support needed to develop your skills.
