Primary Teacher

Location: Hartlepool
Salary: £140–£190 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time / Flexible

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Hartlepool is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This Primary Teacher role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and inspiring pupils to achieve their full potential.

The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, creating an inclusive classroom environment and supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is an excellent opportunity to join a school that values creativity, collaboration and high-quality teaching.

Key Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

  • Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress.

  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

  • Managing behaviour effectively to promote positive learning outcomes.

  • Creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where all pupils can thrive.

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.

  • Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.

The Ideal Primary Teacher Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Have experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.

  • Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Be passionate about delivering high-quality education.

  • Have strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Be committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.

  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

  • Have a fully checkable work history.
